If you are looking for a company to grow with – an opportunity to shape and drive the company – then I want to talk to you!The Director of Operations will have the following qualifications: * Provide strong leadership and guidance to the entire manufacturing team, at all levels * Develop, implement and maintain processes and systems that result in improved efficiencies and operational excellence * Design and establish individual, team, and corporate goals and objectives * Monitor, measure, analyze, and report department performance on a detailed level to managment team and others as required * The Director of Operations will be a strategic thinker with very strong analytical skills and attention to detail * The Director of Operations will have an ability to manage change and unanticipated circumstances in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * A strong personality that commands the respect of his or her peers and coworkersResponsibilities: * The Director of Operations will be responsible for all facets of manufacturing SAfe Quality Foods tat meet the specific demands of regulatory agencies and customers * The Director of Operations will implement plans, schedules, and forecasts that meet volume, production, delivery, and cost objectives; regularly reports on said objectives at a detailed level * The Director of Operations will formulate and execute both short and long-term objectives that result in improved efficiencies, reduced costs and improved poduct quality. * Will define and direct the administration of plant policies and procedures within the framework of corporate goals and objectives * Ensure product quality and costs meet and exceed established standards and expectations * Integrate new products and processes, including design, development, testing, cost analysis, etc. * Assist with the development and implementation of Capital Plans related to production, process improvement, and expansion * Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by hazard elimination, employee training and vocal promotion and enforcement of safety guidelines, objectives, and awareness * Collaborates with and provides support to appropriate company functions including: Receiving, Shipping, Accounting/Finance, Quality Control, Human Resources, IT, Legal, etc. * Directs, trains, develops and holds subordinates accountable All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or protected veteran status.
