District Sales Leader

The District Sales Leader is responsible for managing the sales of Corteva Agriscience crop protection products and services in an assigned area. This position develops and implements tactical plans to support the successful execution of Strategic Marketing Plans (SMP) including sales programs and policies in line with business objectives. The District Sales Leader leads district personnel in achieving business objectives and coaches individuals on the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to succeed.Specific Responsibilities:Manages District Sales Team Provides leadership, vision, direction and focus for District sales activities while fostering learning and motivation of employees Manages employee performance by clearly communicating expectations and coaching individuals on gaps in skills and abilities required for success Continuously evaluates sales team members? performance and holds individuals accountable for meeting established performance expectationsDevelops Relationships with Key Customers Builds and manages relationships with key customers and influencers to promote products and services in alignment with Area marketing and sales strategies Understands customer needs and provides feedback to the commercial team on marketing effectiveness, as well as suggested improvements to the Area sales strategy Actively gathers market conditions, trends and competitive activity and communicates information to teamDevelops Relationships with Key Customers Manages assigned sales plan within budget and continually seeks growth opportunities within DistrictIntegrates District and Area business plans Collaborates with team to prioritize customers and oversees sales activities within DistrictAchieves Organizational Performance GoalsSales Revenue Market Share Penetration of New ProductsQualifications:BS in Agronomy or related Field10+ years experience in agricultural sales.
