We areseeking a motivated District Sales Manager Trainee. This position will be located in a salesterritory in the US, reporoting to our Districts Sales Manager Trainee &Intern Lead. Thisposition will provide comprehensive training that will teach the skills andknowledge necessary to become a high-performing member of the sales force.After successful completion of the program trainees are eligible for afull-time sales position that may require relocation. Training classes begin inJanuary 2019 and May 2019 and last approximately 6 months, pending individualprogress and development. KeyResponsibilities: Workwith a District Sales Manager in a defined territory to develop a solid base ofdistrict management, agronomic knowledge and sales skills.Buildand manage local marketing project to deliver value to your teamDeveloprelationships with farmers and/or dealers to learn how to effectively identifyand meet their needs.Helpthe team achieve sales goals by successfully selling the value of our seedproducts.Gaina strong base of product and agronomic knowledge to assist with productplacement and evaluation. Deliveragronomic services that help farmers achieve optimal performance on their farm.Learnhow to successfully manage a sales district and coach your sellers.Workclosely with sales management to achieve annual business goals and long-termgrowth.Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience: Minimumof a Bachelors degree.Demonstratedself motivation and initiative with the ability to set and achieve goals withminimal supervision.Abilityto utilize knowledge and skills to secure seed sales.Resultsoriented with the ability to develop and execute strategy to achieve goals.Demonstratedability to prioritize and manage time effectively.Provenproblem-solving ability.Strongcommunication skills.Abilityto travel/drive throughout district on a daily basis. Company vehicle provided.Validdriver???s license. Driving record (MVR) will be reviewed and must meetguidelines based on the company???s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers.SomeDSMT positions will involve hauling material that will put the driver underDOT/FMCSA jurisdiction. In those situations, candidate must be able to meet allapplicable DOT/FMCSA criteria, which will include passing a DOT physical. Abilityto lift a 60 pound bag of seed.Abilityto relocate??? potentially could have 2 moves during training and placementwithin 12 months.
