?The current territory for this position includes the southern three-fourths of IL, the southern half of IN, and the state of Kentucky.?SUMMARY:? Provides training for internal and external customers to develop value added opportunities.? Manages research for developing new markets for proprietary products and basic manufacturer's products.? Must primarily perform office or non-manual work directly related to management policies or general business operations.? Also, must exercise independent choice and judgment in matters of consequence 50% or more of the time.?ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include some or all of the following and is intended to provide an overall summary of the primary job duties and does not included every specific job expectation:?Develops and conducts training for location personnel to develop sound agronomic fertility skills and programs, to include AGRIntelligence products and service offerings.?Serves as expert to diagnosis complex soil or plant issues and make corresponding product recommendations.?Plans and presents agronomic meetings for growers.?Manages and compiles data on research and demonstration plots and reports to division management team and uses to promote AI products.?Maintains current information resources by attending agronomic seminars and developing a network of university and industry contacts.?Supports AGRIntelligence Technicians and Specialists by providing technical expertise on AI equipment and plant and soil issues.?Develops and conducts Train the Trainer sessions for division and location personnel to increase location staff agronomic knowledge and skills.?Promotes AI as a tool to market and position other Helena products and services?Keeps up with advancements in the industry including field testing new tools and technology.?Develops working relationship with basic manufacturers' technical service personnel on new compounds prior to registration and sale.?Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.?Reliable and regular attendance is expected.?QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:? Master's degree in Science discipline and 3 years of agronomic field or lab work or a Bachelor's degree in an agriculture related field with 5 years of specific crop consulting field.? Must be Certified Crop Consultant or California Pest Control Advisor as required by locality.??OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:? ?Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.?Working knowledge of all Microsoft office products.?Excellent public speaking abilities.?Self-motivated and a team player.?Excellent agronomic, plant and soil sciences knowledge.?Good driving record and valid driver s license.?Ability to travel.?PHYSICAL DEMANDS:?
