E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) Supervisor
The electrical supervisor is responsible for the asset health of all plant electrical and controls systems.
Candidate will both perform and assist with new installations of electrical power and controls, perform modifications to existing electrical systems and assist with planning and implementation of future work and electrical warehousing.
Every employee is responsible for their own and others safety as well as food safety compliance and GMP enforcement for themselves and others around them.Directly reports to the site M&R leader.
All plant electricians, electrical contractors, elevator technicians, automation, digital cameras and programming personnel are directed and managed by this position.
Direct interaction with the planning coordinator for scheduling and proactive maintenance is required.
Direct interaction with the maintenance supervisor and coordinator for daily coordination of crafts.
Direct coordination with operations supervisors and superintendent for coordination of needs and equipment availability.Complexity: Must be able to manage and communicate complex tasks on multiple levels. Complex systems of communications, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces and field equipment must be understood to perform these job functions.Work Environment: Work both indoors and outdoors.
Primarily in an industrial plant environment.Tasks Performed by this Person:- Lead in house electrical team- Lead and coordinate electrical contractor activities- Elevator maintenance and repairs- Controls maintenance, modifications and repairs- Programming maintenance, modifications and repairs- Site electrical projects.- Training and development of inhouse electrical team.Principal Accountabilities45% – Manage plant electrical and automation maintenance programs. Includes direct supervision of plant electricians, electrical planning and plant CMMS.30% – Manage plant electrical projects and improvements, including supervision of electrical contractors.15% – Troubleshooting and resolution of plant electrical and control problems.?10% – Additional duties as assigned.Skills:
Associate/Technical Degree -OR-
in lieu of the degree equivalent 3+ years industrial electrical maintenance experience.? 3+ previous experience in a supervisor -OR- leadership role?
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.??
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights?
Experience managing organizational change?
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management Software?
Ability to work rotating weekends.Preferred?
RSLOGIX and Wonderware programming experience?
Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technology?
Working knowledge of plant primary power systems?
Experience managing communication networks
