Our mission is to be a trusted and recognized leader in the agriculture industry, the first choice of every customer and producer, and a growth company where employees can achieve success and develop their maximum potential.Electrical Engineer Reporting to the Director, Environmental and Engineering, the Electrical Engineer will have the opportunity to work with an established team of professionals on a variety of engineering studies and projects relating to the equipment and processes used in the bulk processing, handling, and storage of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products. Travel requirements will be approximately 25% of the year to our North American facilities. The position will be located in Loveland, CO.Primary Responsibilities:- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects, participate in pre-task planning, and reporting any safety issues or concerns to management- Provide engineering support for various aspects of process safety management and environmental compliance programs- Provide assistance for electrical as well as instrumentation and controls projects at farm retail sites and terminals- Assist with compiling and maintaining information on equipment specifications, design bases and standards, site data, reports, and other items as necessary- Review electrical designs for industrial building construction- Assist facility personnel with technical questions and concernsJob Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering- 5 years plus experience in a process industry or manufacturing plant with knowledge of process safety management – Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems – Experience with electronics, controls, instrumentation, programming, and alarm rationalization – Experience with hazardous area classifications- Experience with power distribution a plus- Hands on experience as an electrician or controls technician beneficial- Strong verbal, written, organization and analytical skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, travel, and problem solve both independently as well as collaboratively with a team- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)The Ideal CandidateOutside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side with others in a diverse culture.
