The demonstrated flexibility and proven capabilities of the Muscatine site and its workforce make this a key manufacturing location for Monsanto. Specific project duties as an Electrical Engineering co-op will include: Preparing design, installation and start-up of automatic process control, material handling and distributive control systems. Assisting with documentation of the process and equipment to meet compliance with ISO 9002 certification, Monsanto's interlock guidelines and Process Safety Management regulations.Assisting with existing/new projects in design, equipment selection, installation, checkout, troubleshooting, and start-up phases.Other responsibilities could include project development, electrical control drawing approval, programming controller specifications, software development and training. This co-op assignment will be completed during the Fall 2017 semester.Qualifications: Students must be currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S Electrical Engineering degree program and have completed the sophomore year at the time of application. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.Prior co-op or internship experience is a plus.Apply for this job.
