EME Pipeline Enablement Lead – #01EKK
Breeding EME Pipeline Enablement Lead Sound pipeline planning and provision is foundational in driving Monsanto???s product development from early discovery through product launch. Smarter logistics and operations are critical to the ongoing success in field testing, nursery operations, and marker workflows to select the right products. We are seeking a motivated individual to serve as a Breeding Pipeline Enablement Lead focused on the Europe Region. This role is critical in assuring that we have connected and coordinated timelines and systems to drive pipeline success across a broad range of breeding teams. It is based out of our corporate headquarters in St Louis, MO with dotted line relationships with key personnel in region. The successful candidate will partner with regional stakeholders to create centralized logistics strategies to enhance pipeline operations and success leading to better products. The candidate will adapt successful strategies from North America and other regions where appropriate and also serve as a liaison to St Louis based teams driving IT and workflow improvements. Primary responsibilities are: Develop central pipeline operational timelines that make sense for region, and evaluate key dependencies to assure timely planting of trials and sound protocol execution.Manage partnership between breeders, nursery and field operations, and logistics to call out timeline/logistical risks to operations and develop corrective actions (yield trial and nursery planting dates, set creation timelines, forecasts to growers, work instructions).Build strong linkage of EME needs to the Line Production team (new starts, DH, marker selection, increase) ??? assure connectivity in process, forecasting, timing ?? drive success rates of materials.Adapt protocol planning and work instruction process to EME, convey needs back to groups working on IT enhancements.Evaluate opportunities to adapt IT automation to EME: partner to drive requirements, evolution of workflow and timelines. Evaluate centralized packaging needs and build a plan with stakeholders that meets EME deliverablesQualifications:Required Skills: BS degree required in Agricultural Sciences, Logistics, Genetics, Plant breeding or related field with work experience in plant breeding operations or field based agronomic research.Project management experience, with the ability to drive projects to completion while working under tight timelines.Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams at different locations.Results-orientation, attention to detail.Ability to lead by influence and by establishing strong partnerships.
