GROWMARK is large enough to offer solid career opportunities, but small enough to provide a family-oriented, welcoming environment and great benefits.See what it's like to work at GROWMARK:??https://youtu.be/IsXYA-oaFYo??PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Provides leadership to assigned member cooperatives in developing and overseeing implementation of marketing and business development plans and strategies that result in profitable market share increases for member cooperatives and the Energy Division.?SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP?Supervises, leads, and develops assigned Energy Sales and Marketing Managers.?ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Consults with member cooperative managers and management teams in developing long-range strategies, business and marketing plans that result in increased profitable market share of all energy products and enhances member cooperative vitality.?Acts as liaison between member manager, Energy Division and Member Services.?Oversees the development and execution of member specific plans that aid Energy Division in supporting member strategies and growth goals.Coordinates division resources to provide necessary support and assistance to assigned member cooperatives.?Assists member cooperatives with developing human resource plans that result in effective succession planning, hiring and developing professional energy employees.?Assists members and Member Services in leading efforts to optimize operational, marketing and sales processes resulting in efficient and effective organizations.?Provides leadership for the communication and implementation of Energy Division programs with member cooperative marketing teams.?Assists other Energy Division staff with the development of marketing strategies that help position member cooperatives as leaders in their geography.?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Leads and participates in activities designed to increase the marketing knowledge, marketing skills, and marketing abilities of member cooperative and Energy Division personnel in the assigned area.?Assists with development, promotion and implementation of the Annual Sales Program and the M.A.R.C. of Excellence Programs.?Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Performs all other duties as assigned.??REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a?bachelor's degree?in marketing, or other business related discipline and at least 6 years of sales/marketing experience to demonstrate the ability to provide energy marketing leadership in the assigned territory.?Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Prefer GROWMARK System marketing and/or management experience.???????????Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license.?Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.?Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
