Please ensure you include an updated resume with your application for full consideration.The Pittsburg Environment, Health, & Safety Group Leader provides leadership and strategies to support achievement of the site and companys Responsible Care goals, implementation of work processes, and continuous improvement in EH&S performance. This critical leader provides the systems and tools necessary to ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, as well as internal Corteva EH&S requirements.What You Will Do:         Assure that the compliance process in the units is in place and functioning by delivering the systems and tools necessary to ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements as well as internal Corteva EH&S requirements.         Lead our team of 10 safety professionals         Lead the Safety Delivery Team.          Be the administrative, functional and technical leader for the sites EH&S Delivery Technicians.         Participate in EH&S related assessment and audits.         Address incident and audit corrective actions that involve systems deficiencies.         Ensure EH&S work processes, standards and procedures are applied within the units through role assignments and training.         Support site-wide EH&S systems as needed.         Identify potential EH&S related business risk.         Lead EH&S incident reduction efforts.         Lead and/or participate in the investigation of EH&S incidents using the global EH&S process.         Identify opportunities and facilitates the process to leverage EH&S Delivery resources (specialists, technicians, empowered teams, etc.).         Ensure that EH&S training is delivered, as appropriate.         Be accountable for cost-effective delivery of EH&S systems through standard work processes and common systems.QualificationsWho You Are:         Passionate about health, safety, and the environment!         Thinking outside the box and being an innovator is what you do!         Bachelor Degreed (preferably in an Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering or other related field)         You have experience leading a robust team of direct reports         A safety professional with 10 years of hands-on work experience in operations, manufacturing, production, or other industrial safety function          Someone with validated experience in developing effective, engaging training materials         Comfortable with computers and strong Microsoft Office skills         You have the aptitude and ability to learn new processes and systems efficiently and swiftly         You have a wonderful ability to transmit knowledge (teaching, coaching, communicating, documenting) as well as model and instill commitment, passion, and culture change behaviors         You are effective at organizational management, specifically leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing EHS&S talent         You have strong organizational, teamwork and people management skills         You rock at handling, prioritizing, and executing numerous simultaneous activities on an ongoing basis         People often describe you as a self-motivated independent critical thinker and performer         Consultation, facilitation, and influencing skills come easily to you         In previous roles, you have demonstrated open and clear communications and processes for issue resolution          You can analyze technical writing and regulations so you can describe the EHS&S standards & procedures and can coach others appropriatelyWe look forward to seeing your application!
