Environmental Auditor ? Decatur, ILThis is an exempt level position. Position Summary:Archer Daniels Midland Co., a world leader in agricultural processing, has an immediate opening for an Environmental Auditor at our North American headquarters in Decatur, Illinois.
This position will audit ADM facilities throughout the United States for compliance with all environmental rules and regulations, including but not limited to:
Air Quality, Water Quality, Spill Prevention, AST/USTs, Solid and Hazardous Waste, EPCRA, TSCA and FIFRA.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for communicating compliance concerns and corresponding recommendations verbally and in writing to various levels of managementConduct environmental compliance and environmental management system audits Job Requirements: The position will require approximately 50% travelB.S. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fieldsAbility to logically evaluate information and draw conclusions based on regulations and company standards, as well as a proven record of managing multiple tasks and meeting established deadlines is necessaryPrior exposure to U.S. and state environmental regulations requiredExtensive knowledge of Clean Air Act regulations is required, with a minimum of five years of environmental experienceMust be PC literate, have knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages and must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
