We are seeking highly motivated eFate/Pesticide Residue Scientist for current and future roles. These positions are located in St. Louis, MO and will work in a collaborative research environment to support new and existing products in our company???s agriculture portfolio. Key Responsibilities:Managing studies designed to determine the magnitude of pesticide residues in crop food and feed commodities for use in safety assessments for obtaining worldwide Regulatory approvalsDesigning studies, interpreting results and reporting the overall technical conduct of residue studies Qualifications: Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of Bachelor???s degree in Chemistry, Agronomy or a related fieldMinimum of two or more years of practical industrial experienceFlexibility and organization to manage multiple projects while maintaining the agility to adjust priorities to meet business objectivesMotivated team player who can work closely within the Regulatory Environmental Sciences Technology Center as well as with others across our global Regulatory organization. Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial to success in this role. Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel Desired Skills & Experience: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Agronomy or a related fieldFive or more years of practical industrial experienceExperience working in a regulated environmentExperience working with LIMS, electronic laboratory notebooks, and/or other similar electronic systemsExperience managing studies at a contract laboratory facilityPrior success demonstrating the ability to manage studies and solve problems across technically diverse scientific disciplines (such as crop residue chemistry, agronomy, and/or analytical chemistry) Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
