Equipment Operator (Grand View, ID)

These endeavors have been around for centuries and will continue to be a vital part of the global economy. We currently have a position available at our Land & Livestock location in Grand View, ID. Grand View is an agricultural community on the Snake River, near the C.J. Strike Reservoir.SUMMARYOperates equipment andrelated implements to accomplish various assigned tasks by performing thefollowing duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIESOperates equipment such as Tractors, bulldozers,loaders, and dump trucks to perform maintenance and/or construction projectsand to level and bed livestock pens during winter months; assists in loading andremoving manure to keep pens clean.Performs other duties as assigned bysupervisors.Performs light maintenance on equipment suchas replenishing fuel, checking oil levels, ensures equipment is properlygreased and that equipment is serviced in a timely manner by mechanics.Other duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to deal with problems involving several concretevariables in standardized situations.OTHERSKILLS AND ABILITIESWorkmay be performed in pens with animals present.
