The Cranberry Institute is a nonprofit trade association [501 (c) (5)] representing cranberry packer/processor members and growers in the US and Canada. Primary programs and activities include: support for cranberry production and environmental research; interface with state and federal regulatory agencies; interface with agricultural chemical industry; support for and communication of cranberry health benefits research; resource for issue and policy awareness for industry stakeholders; operation of industry crisis management and communication team; and communication to stakeholders on issues of common interest. Title: Executive DirectorAvailability: November 1, 2019Closing Date: June 7, 2019 Duties and Responsibilities: The primary focus of the Executive Director is to work under the guidance of the Board of Directors and is responsible for the implementation of the policies, goals, and annual objectives set by the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is charged with the financial, program, and administrative management of the Cranberry Institute. The Cranberry Institute is dedicated to supporting research and increasing awareness about the health benefits of the cranberry. Qualifications: A bachelor s degree or higher is required. Advanced degree preferred, however extensive experience would be considered in lieu of an advanced degree. Management and/or leadership experience in the agricultural, environmental, communications, business, government or educational fields. Candidates with demonstrated management of agricultural, environmental, or health disciplines at a university, corporation, or similar trade association will be considered.
