Liquids Operator Compound as required by production demand by following shop floor precisely as instructed to do so by shop floor papersVerify container types, location and material to make sure it matches the order and labels to dispense productResponsible for safe operation of fork lift and all material handling equipment within the work areaMaintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the departmentMaintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standardsAbility and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvementsPerform other duties as assigned
Dry Blend Operator Responsible for safely operating a variety of equipment and processes within a manufacturing environment (sieves, batching systems, etc.) in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), management guidance & department instructionsMix products together according to the formulas providedCompletely and accurately document all work to ensure lot traceability, HACCP checks, etc.Work in compliance with all GMP, OSHA, Food Safety and internal safety guidelines Meat Inspection Department (MID) Operator Follow ISO9001, GMP and HACCP procedures to ensure product safetyRead, understand and follow all instructions listed on Manufacturing OrdersCheck and add all raw materials or pre-weighed materials listed on Manufacturing Orders.Precisely weigh raw materials and intermediates as listed on orders and reportsMake, process and pack meat concentrates, pastes and dried powdersProper use of all equipment and tools to safely transport or transfer heavy objects, materials or product from one place to anotherFollow QC and sampling proceduresReport QC deviations to ManagementExecute formula adjustments according to QC and formula requirementsExecute all required transactions on the terminals software and hand held scannersFollow hazardous label guidelinesProperly handle and transport hazardous materials throughout the facilities and for customersOperate steam jacketed kettles, vacuum dryers and pumps
