Providing a full range of farm supplies and services including agronomy, seed, fertilizer, fuel, structures, custom turf, financing, marketing advice and products. Specializing in the production of corn and soybeans and operate several grain elevators as part of our operations. Evergreen FS is a member of the GROWMARK system.??PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Responsible for assisting in the direct operations of Farmtown retail store to ensure profitable sales, customer satisfaction, business retention, and company growth.??ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSAssists customers with purchases, product information, product availability,information handouts, and items in the store or warehouse. Assists with operation of the store cash register, product checkout of purchases, and carrying out purchases.Stocks shelves/bins, organize stock, cleans up and refills display items, and rotates and restocks all items in the store, warehouse, or external property areas.? ??Performs necessary housekeeping duties which may include sweeping, mopping, emptying of trash, cleaning of restrooms, cleaning the store equipment, and clear exterior sidewalks in order to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.??OTHER JOB FUNCTIONSMay be required to exchange propane cylinders for customer empty cylinders,.? Attend company and department meetings and training programs.Follows Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Performs all other duties as assigned.??REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a minimum age of 16 years with applicable work authorization, if applicable. Previous retail experience desirable.???Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Normally requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to utilize computers, MS Office Suites software, email, internet for business, company software, mobile technology, and other digital information sources.?Must work well in a team environment, under indirect supervision, and with our customers.??Occasionally exposed or required to:?Occasional weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, snow, ice, etc.)Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards requiring appropriate safety measuresLift 21 -51 lbs.Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands, including weekend hours.? Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
