Job DescriptionEXCELLENT CAREER OPPORTUNITYSUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the daily repair and maintenance of all equipment involved in the feed manufacturing processAssist in the development, implementation and coordination of a plant wide preventative maintenance (PM) program to ensure maximum equipment life and minimal downtime and other milling operations and proceduresAssist Lead to maintain an adequate, cost effective inventory of spare partsInterface with boiler, chemical and insurance representatives to ensure the integrity of water softeners, boilers and related boiler equipmentMaintain proper records for the Utah Department of Air QualityPerform monthly fire extinguisher inspectionsPromote safety including housekeeping practices, tools, equipment and facility??REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??Minimum High School EducationMust have a minimum of one year experience in a maintenance or related fieldGood verbal && written communications skills requiredGood organizational skillsMust be able to weldMust be able to perform basic electrical troubleshootingMust be self-motivated and able to work alone and unsupervised.Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally 100 pounds, work at heights up to 200 feet, frequently climb a ladder and work from a ladder and tolerate cold, heat, mill dust, mill odors, and frequently noisy conditions for short periods of time.?For more details, contact Human Resources at the number below.?Information:$14.28 minimum – $16.80 midpoint DOE plus full benefits package.Must be available to be on-call when scheduled; work evenings, weekends and holidays when scheduled; and work an average 45 hour week with average 9 hour workday.Smithfield Application required??Apply for this job.
