QUALIFICATIONS: – 3+ years successful sales experience in Animal Feed- Sales Management experience a plus- Experience selling value added and/or specialty products a plus- Must be an excellent results-oriented negotiator- Must enjoy taking on a challenge and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit- Excellent listening skills, a problem solver- Valid Drivers License, clean driving record and the ability to travel throughout the trade territory. Responsibilities:- Work within company directives to establish and implement the sales strategy for the assigned area- Schedule and prioritize your time to service existing accounts and in prospecting and developing new customers- Manage for optimal financial results (margins, volume, market share, etc)- Prepare financial reports for your sales area- Monitor and assure quality service and timeliness of delivery- Maintain market intelligence for your assigned area (competitors, prospects, material costs, regulatory requirements, etc).
