This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.?QUALIFICATIONS:?-?Very self-motivated person for career in cattle management and record keeping- Prefer good animal health knowledge, have strong emphasis on self motivation and achieving job proficiencies after training- Must have?previous feedlot experience- Have personable and effective communication skills between customers, vendors, management, office, and outside personnel- Ability to?report to multiple managers is a must- Dependable, reliable, hard working,?punctual, and willingness to take the extra step to make sure it is done correctly, the first time- Must have additional strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word- Experience with Turnkey Feedlot Accounting software, is a must- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business and Bilingual speech are preferred, but not required??JOB DESCRIPTION:?Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting this Colorado employer seeking?to hire a person with a good cattle background. Prefer they have some feedlot experience, a?person who has good job stability and a good livestock/animal husbandry background. Employer has a 30-day extensive training program followed by a 60-day support phase after which?the?person will be expected to be running solo. Employer prefers someone that has worked in a feedlot prior and has experience with clerking and using?”Turnkey Software Package”, so they?can hit the ground running after a short orientation. Need a person who can see the big picture, who can make decisions on their own and they should have above average?computer skills, typing skills, and 10 key data entry. This person will be responsible for oversight of receiving and shipping logistics, daily operations, maintenance, personnel, milling, and animal health nutrition. Person must be high quality and energetic.?This person will be the key link working between the feedlot's customers, vendors, management, office staff and outside personnel of the feedlot.
