This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.?***THIS IS A CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH – ALL WE CAN SHARE IS WHAT WE HAVE SHOWN***UPDATE: 9/29/2016QUALIFICATIONS:- 4-year degree required; Masters or MBA preferred- Minimum 5 years dry fertilizer trading experience, preferably working for one of the major Ag Retailers such as Cargill, Gavilon, ADM, etc.- Proven track record developing new and expanded markets with ability?to run own profit center- Strong negotiation skills- Exceptional communication skills including verbal, written and presentation with ability to lead / motivate others- Excellent goal-setting abilities including solid?organizational skills and attention to detail- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Desire to live near or in a major, East Coast metropolitan areaJOB DESCRIPTION:Progressive Ag Employer seeking an experienced Fertilizer Trader / Manager for an East Coast facility. Primary responsibilities will be to:- Execute fertilizer trade via barge, truck and rail throughout the U.S. based on market intelligence, inventory management and the supply and demand of on-the-spot and forward markets- Develop an in-depth understand of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium based fertilizer markets and their correlation with grain prices and inputs- Generate sales by independently accumulating a network of business relationships with fertilizer cooperatives throughout the Midwestern U.S.- Continuously develop sales and business skills while incorporating numerous factors in constructing significant deals- Oversee traders in training and other office personnelEmployer has a strong preference for an individual who has their finger on the pulse of the dry fertilizer market and who desires a challenging and rewarding career opportunity. There are opportunities for substantial bonuses with this organization based on profitability of organization as well as personal performance. This Fertilizer Trader/Manager will report to President/CEO.?
