Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us Feed the Future, and grow your career.This position reports to the Lead Operator.What you will do: Comply with all Safety, Environmental and Operating StandardsReport any Safety concerns to the Lead Operator as soon as they are identifiedAssist Lead Operator in an effort to operate Lines 1 and 2 equipment and systemsEnsure line 1 and 2 equipment is operating at maximum efficiencyMonitor and Operate computer based control systems and equipment for malfunction or breakdown potential and respond accordingly to minimize downtime and or equipment failureGeneral maintenance such as screen changes, filter changes, and spray nozzle replacementsConduct rounds throughout the production units, record findings and report to Lead OperatorPerform product quality checks as requiredOperate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc)As trained and qualified, provide coverage for additional plant positions when requiredModerate to heavy workloads on a periodic basisPerform any other duties as assigned by the Lead OperatorWhat you will bring: High School Diploma or GED1 -3 years of related experience preferred in a progressively responsible role with experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge and experience in the use of hand and power toolsExperience with Distributive Control Systems and or PC controls systems preferredSelf-starter and effective communicator with the ability to interact with plant personnel on a daily basisProven multi-tasking skills and the ability to work independently in a team environmentAre you a good match?
