Field Production Coordinator

DuPont Pioneer has anexciting leadership opportunity for you to join our company. We are seeking aProduction Coordinator to lead and coordinate the activities of our ProductionTechnicians. In this leadership role, you will work directly with supervisorsto ensure adequate resources are in place to meet business objectives as wellas work with Team Leads to ensure all resources are used adequately and managedacross processes as needed. In this role you will be challenged with duties andresponsibilities that evolve throughout the year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supervise Production Technicians across multiple
production process operationsMonitors locations Conservation Plan and
implements improvements where necessary.Assess Field IPM program and adjusts as required based
upon current environmental conditions.Monitors individual field performance and develops
strategies to ensure maximum yield potential.Coordinates land management strategy with FOM.Administers pertinent Field Safety ProgramsWorking knowledge of GIS applicationsEnsure goals set by location management are
accomplished, you will work with multiple production areas and shift
process leads.Communicate important information to team members and
to FOM.Facilitate communication between team members and
Location Management.Monitor daily field activities and allocate
resources to ensure time, quality, people treatment and safety commitments
are met.Coach and assist with managing teams development as
neededSupport locations outreach initiativesSupervisory skills: ability to manage work processes, balance workload, train & motivateemployees are key for this roleQualifications:The following arerequired:Two year technical diploma/degree in a related field
(Natural Resources, Agronomy, etc.) Three – Five (3-5) years on-the-job or related
agricultural experience that includes supervisory experience across
multiple production processes (Experience may be substituted for
formal secondary education)Competent computer skills to include Excel, Outlook, GIS, and
other software programs.Good oral and written communication skillsCurrent Driver???s License and ability to obtain and maintain
CMV license.Ability to operate machinery, motor vehicles such as
trucks and/or forkliftsWilling and able to work in a variety of areas (field,
plant, shade house)Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated
areas; standing and sitting for extended periodsWilling and able to work both outdoors and indoors in
hot, cold, wet and dry conditionsWilling and able to lift up to 60 lbs. and complete
work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingWillingness and ability to work overtime hours
including weekend work required during seasonal peaksThe following arepreferred:Process Improvement Skills such as DPS/TRACC,
LEAN/SMED, Six Sigma and other applicable Tools, ISOCompliance & Policy Interpretation and
Implementation SkillsPlant and Field equipment operation knowledgeCustomer and quality orientation ??? ability to foster
