Field Sales Agronomist
?Requisition ID : 1192Landus Cooperative is currently seeking an individual whose responsibilities will involve territory planning, sales, customer service, and reporting, budgeting, forecasting and sound agronomic recommendation to our member. ?The FSA will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within Landus Cooperative and a professional image for Landus Cooperative.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may also be assigned)Manage and maintain a list of customers and prospects.Prioritize prospects and partial customers to identify the best opportunities for growth.Make regular sales calls on current and potential customersMaintain and increase sales with existing customers and gain business from new customers.Document and submit sales call information to marketing manager.Provide a consistent communication channel between Landus Cooperative customers and location personnel in order to set proper service expectation levels, resolve problems and scheduling issues.Advise customers on the proper use of products and equipment.Collaborate with other departments and/or locations to identify potential benefits to the customer from other company programs.Understand and follow all Landus Cooperative Safety policies and procedures.Establish and attain sales goals that are compatible with Landus Cooperative Corporate Goals.Work with customers, suppliers, and management to resolve product/service complaints fairly and equitably.Make sound agronomic recommendations to customers by presenting solutions, products, services, and/or concepts in order to maximize returns for the customers.Maintain sales contracts and bookings.Develop account plans that include strategy and tactics for achieving desired customer results.Help Location monitor projected sales in order to monitor inventory needs.Monitor monthly agronomy sales and expense reports.Manage sales in order to achieve target margins and product mix.Periodically forecast sales volumes for inventory planning and budget projections.Work with the location manager and marketing manager to establish the agronomy budget with particular emphasis on sales volumes & direct selling expenses.Monitor and evaluate potential accounts receivable risks on current and potential customers in order to minimize the company?s accounts receivable risk exposure.Timely feedback to Landus Cooperative on execution of plans, needs, opportunities, value, and obstacles discovered during the selling processREQUIREMENTSEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: ?Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.?CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: ?CCA certified or equivalent knowledge. ?Valid state motor vehicle operator?s license, CDL and other DOT qualifications for operation of a commercial motor vehicle.?This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job. ?The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in our motor vehicle safety policy. ?Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledApply for this job.
