Field Sales Representative
Market and sell CFC products and services to customers and/or potential customers within an assigned territory. Make technical service calls to customers and potential customers, analyzing their needs by soil testing, examining livestock, and any other means necessary, and recommend products and services that meet the customer’s needs.Solicit repeat-business from existing customers and generate new business, with a focus on sales growth for the company.Inform customers of new programs, products, and techniques available through CFC.May direct the first delivery of products or services to new customers to assure customer satisfaction. Follow-up on customer orders to assure on-time delivery of the correct products and services.Monitor the competition and report information to staff personnel.Act as a Public Relations contact/liaison for CFC by attending and participating in community and civic functions, especially those related to the company’s business.Conduct training sessions for retail store personnel to bring them up to speed on new developments and techniques or services available through CFC.Attend approved professional development meetings and seminars to further product knowledge and sales ability.Work closely with retail division on credit information on assigned accounts.Minimum Associate’s Degree in agriculture-related course of study.Minimum 3 Years Agribusiness ExperienceSales and Marketing ExperienceMust be a team player, with sales aptitude, professional manner and appearance, excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills and strong computer skills.
