QUALIFICATIONS: – BSc Agronomy or other Ag-Related degree; degree requirement can be waived with Proven Record of Success in Ag Sales and/or Production Agriculture- At least 5 years of Ag Industry Experience preferred with Strong Knowledge/Understanding of Crop Protection and Fertilizers- MUST have a Sales/Leadership Personality with a Positive Attitude- Excellent Communication Skills including written and verbal with ability to present effectively to large and small Ag groups- Detail-Oriented with Ability to Learn New Products and Technologies- Self-Directed and Performance-Driven- Ability to Travel Territory on a regular basis- Physically Able to Endure Hot or Cold Outdoor Climates and Work/Stand For Long Periods of Time- Computer Proficient- Clean Driving Record- Currently Residing Within Territory to be covered with established Ag relationships JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Long-Established Ag Manufacturer looking to add Field Sales Representatives within Northern California, Southern California, Texas and Missouri. Ideal candidates will have established Ag Grower contacts within the territory, a solid knowledge/understanding of current crop protection and crop nutrition products on the market, and a Leader/Sales personality. Primary duties to include:- Managing/Developing a Dealer/Distributor customer base and/or identifying new key customers within sales territory- Working with Ag Growers to understand their crop inputs needs and to develop successful action plans- Working with Business Development Team to support new customer relationship building- Communicating action plans, initiatives/objectives and strategies with Management Team- Budgeting/Forecasting/Analyzing Sales Territory- Developing/Implementing Annual sales and marketing business plans for territory- Identifying and Meeting territory sales goals- Networking with Ag industry representatives, Dealer/Distributors and Ag Grower customers to build product and market knowledge- Liaison between customer and company for deliveries, forecasting, credit issues, complaint handling, custom application, etc.- Following all company safety/regulatory policies and following all credit policies for companyThese Field Sales Representatives will report directly to Business Development Manager.***THIS EMPLOYER OFFERS COMPETITIVE BASE SALARY, UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS, SOLID BENEFITS PACKAGE AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH.*** ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
