Field Sales Representative – Equine
Market and sell equine feeds, products and services to customers and/or potential customers. Make technical service calls to customers and customers of our dealers. Assist with equine marketing programs and promotional events as the need arises. Provide sales support to retail stores in equine sales and marketing.Visit customers and/or potential customers at their farms to sell products and services, concentrating mainly on selling equine feeds and related products on behalf of our retail locations and the dealer network.Solicit repeat-business from existing customers and generate new business. Seek out and develop new dealer opportunities. Inform customers/dealers of new programs, products, and techniques available through CFC.Act as a Public Relations contact/liaison for CFC by attending equine events such as industry association functions, seminars, trade shows, horse shows and seminars.Attend approved professional development meetings and seminars to further product knowledge and sales ability.Minimum Bachelor’s Degree including coursework in Animal Nutrition, Marketing, and Economics.Minimum 5 Years Agribusiness and/or Equine Business ExperienceSales and Marketing ExperienceMust be a team player, with sales aptitude, professional manner and appearance, excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills and strong computer skills.This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package including 401k plan, health and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick leave and a generous performance based incentive package.Apply for this job.
