Field Service Technician
Job Description:The Field Service Technician provides installation, service, and customer support for customers and Regional Sales Managers as required in the field. Support all Allflex RFID products for various types of livestock and companion animal applications. Primary Responsibilities:Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatchesManaging all onsite installation, repairs, maintenance, testingTie workflow to schedulesUtilize and operate all tools and test equipment issuedProduce timely and detailed service reportsMay perform other duties as assigned by the management Possible Working Conditions:Working around livestock in open areas, pens, alleyways and harvest facilitiesInclement weatherPossible exposure to blowing dust, chemical fumes and cleaning solventsOccasional lifting of up to 75lbsStanding for long periodsThe use of ladders and other types of equipment Requirements & Additional Qualifications:Self-starter that possess a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read schematics and interpret mechanical drawings.Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipmentFamiliarity with mobile tools and applicationsComputer skills, in particular Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, and experience with on-farm herd management software a plusAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentThe ability to multitask and take on new responsibilities as needed to fulfill company requirementsAbility to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedulesAbility to travel overnight and some weekends, in and around North America and globallyHave or able to acquire a passportWillingness to assist with on-farm implementation of animal identification programs All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disabilityApply for this job.
