Charleston, SCWhere theChemistry HappensWe areseeking a professional like you to support the daily operation of BASF productsin a Customer Automotive Assembly Plant by providing on-site technical andapplication knowledge. In this role, you will respond to customer requirements,enforce product quality/performance specification, and support newproduct/application development. You will provide on-site expertise of productperformance including color management, defect identification, and correctiveaction if necessary. You will also develop and support customerrelationships. This rolesupports the efforts of a BASF sales/technical team to assure value to thecustomer for product technical support and problem investigation, analysis, andresolution. You will assure product performance meets or exceeds customerexpectations and supports business objectives to be our customer?s supplier ofchoice.You willdemonstrate the technical and professional expertise to enhance BASF?sreputation with the customer. Additionally, you will integrate within thebusiness and technical community to bring additional value to ECO coatingscustomers. You will control key performance indicators within product serviceenvironments to drive problem resolution and product improvement initiativescritical to customer performance expectations.Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional
background in paint applications or manufacturing, you will provide
on-site expertise of products, their application and performance.
Utilizing your inventory control/ERP
knowledge, you will collect and analyze data and apply results to make
material and/or process recommendations.
Your strong attention to detail will
allow you to continuously inspect and evaluate painted units for defects
(e.g., sags, thin paint, drips craters and for proper topcoat application.)
Your excellent interpersonal skills will
help you with interactions with the team and management at our customer
Your strong leadership ability will
allow you to run a shift on your own with minimal supervision.
