Position Purpose & SummaryTo support and enable Cargill Protein Group?s Digital Core Strategy, the Protein Group has launched an effort to replace its core legacy applications to SAP.? In order to ensure the success of this large ERP modernization project, this will be executed as a multi-year plan beginning with a Business Readiness phase and followed by five SAP implementations corresponding to the unique legacy applications and product lines.?The Finance Process Implementation Lead (PIL) will lead the Enterprise Resource Planning System implementation for all areas of Finance and ensures the implementation of sustainable operating results. They begin their engagement early in the project lifecycle during the Business Readiness phase and remain in their role to the end of the Post Go-Live Support period.? The Finance PIL reports to the North America Finance Implementation Lead in the Process Improvement (PI) domain in Accounting and Finance (A&F) and is accountable to the Business Implementation Manager (BIM) and the Project Sponsor. This role has responsibility to direct activities for the sub-process leads within their area, identify key functional risks and issues, support change management efforts, and escalate to the Business Implementation Lead and Finance Leadership Team appropriately.? The ability to develop an understanding of interdependencies across Process Areas as well as integrating with the Data team is a critical skill for success in this role. It is expected that this project will last for 48-60 months, or the duration of the implementation.This role requires significant teamwork, communication, influence and collaboration within other functional PILs, the Protein business, Accounting & Finance (A&F), and Global I.T.Principal Accountabilities60% – Provide knowledge and expertise of local business requirements throughout project phases:Identify and lead finance readiness projects to prepare the business for implementation.??Lead Advance Deployment of Finance activities, aid in Solution Confirmation, and support Local Design/Build efforts.??Ensure that system configuration and process design aligns with finance target architecture and processes defined by the Global Process Organization (GPO)Identify and document variances or gaps from target architecture and review with Finance ERP Governance Council to remedyWork with Global IT and SAP to design/test functional gaps that have been identified.?Support the effort to prepare implementation business case and roadmap.??Coordinate with the NA Migration Lead to identify opportunities for the migration of activities to CBS enabled by the implementationCollaborates with other functional PILs to ensure that downstream impacts to finance processes are understoodWorks with Data Process Lead to define configuration for alignment, testing of the solutionIdentify, staff and manage sub-process leads including onboarding, task allocation, day-to-day work direction, and performanceLead User Acceptance Testing and Business Simulation for FinancePrepare for and participate in Super User and End User trainingDefine cutover requirements, identify resources to complete cutover tasks, and support Site Leads with execution of the cutoverSupport Super Users with issue identification, resolution and monitoring of business Health Metrics during the Post-Go-Live project phase.25% – Change Management & Communication:Support CCE Lead with execution of change plan; promote process change in organization.??With A&F Leads, identify and engage Subject Matter Experts?15% – Support Value Realization Activities:?Lead efforts in collaboration with the other Process Implementation Leads and Process Sponsors which deliver value from system (people, process, data, and technology) improvements.?Implement, maintain and communicate metrics to track progress of development and business readiness efforts and value opportunities identified through optimization initiatives.#LI-JG1Skills:
