CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Agronomy group. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to help to maintain the integrity of the Agronomy division?s financial reporting and budgeting and forecasting along with ad hoc data analysis and reporting. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines, provide customer support, influence others and problem solve on a daily basis with minimal supervision. You will: Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Agronomy division.Prepare and explain monthly mark to market and lower of cost or market calculations to assist with the monthly financial close cycle.Prepare monthly entries and analytics related to the CF Nitrogen investment. Work with divisional and senior management on modeling the investment.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and internal management reporting needs. This includes generating the Mark to Market and Lower of Cost or Market information each month.Process improvement and special projects as assigned.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting3 plus years of experience in the accounting or finance to include:Knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting and budgeting processWorking with, manipulating and analyzing large data setsUnderstand of commodity markets and contract position reportingIntermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include but not limited to pivot tables, vlookup, hlookup, index/match and sumif Preferred Qualifications: (desired)CPA or CMA certificationsKnowledge of the crop nutrient and agriculture industriesApply for this job.
