Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Processing & Food Ingredients (PFI) division. We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to oversee the planning process, reporting activities, and analytics across all PFI business units (Oilseed Processing, Sunflower and Renewable Fuels Production). You must have excellent communication skills, strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; in addition, you should have demonstrated leadership skills and can partner effectively with PFI Finance and Business Unit personnel.
In this role, you will:
Lead the financial planning process including forecasting, budgeting and long-range plan (LRP) process across PFI by partnering with both Finance and Business Unit teams to ensure complete and accurate understanding of business plans and financial impacts.Enhance internal financial reporting and analysis deliverables for use by PFI Finance and Business Unit leaders and teams.Lead the management reporting efforts including monthly reporting package, executive review and internal scorecardsMaintain and update PFI Strategy Scorecard and develop other financial and business-related metrics (KPI?s).Prepare Quarterly Financial Review (QFR) materials for presentation to Corporate teams, including robust understanding and illustration of financial variance drivers and changes to forecast submissions.Partner with Corporate FP&A and other divisional financial analysis teams to create best practices across the enterprise in the areas of divisional forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and strategic support.Provide financial analysis and support on PFI business unit mergers, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.Work with Business Intelligence (BI) team to update and develop PFI reporting.Actively participate in continuous improvement (CI) efforts by documenting and mapping key financial and business processesAssist with efforts to identify opportunities for internal control and process improvements by challenging the status quo and continuously asking ?does this make sense.?Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance or related finance field6 plus years progressive experience in financial management and/or financial planning (FP&A), corporate finance, financial accounting and reporting, strategic finance rolesAdvanced knowledge of business systems & processes and financial accounting principles (US GAAP)Ability to communicate with multiple levels of employees from divisional management and executives to corporate finance management and executive leadershipAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting and analysis toolsPreferred Qualifications: (desired)
MBA or similar degreeCPA, CMA, or similar certification(s)Supervisory experienceSAP, BPC experienceStrong business intelligence reporting tool experience
