This is a full-time hourly 40-hour per week position on day shift, with some overtime requirements.Position SummaryWorking with other Formulation Operators, run chemical processing equipment to react and blend raw materials into final products. In a safe manner, manufacture liquid chemical products that meet strict quality specifications.Essential Functions (not a complete list)- Comply with all plant policies and safety procedures- Regular, predictable attendance of 40 hours per week- In a safe manner, unload and load chemicals from/to tankers, storage tanks and smaller containers.- Safely pull samples of liquid chemicals and deliver to the QA lab for analysis.- Accurately log inventory of raw materials and final products into log books.- Drive forklift- Work overtime as requested- Other responsibilities as assignedQualifications (not a complete list)- High school diploma or GED- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation- Proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)- Ability to read, write and understand the English language- Previous experience working in a chemical plant or refinery is preferredPhysical RequirementsPhysically and medically capable of wearing a respiratorCapable of wearing protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear plugs, protective suitAble to lift 70 lbs.Able to climb stairs and laddersAble to stoop and bend frequentlyGood manual dexterity, vision and hearingAble to walk and stand for long periods of timeCapable of working in varying temperaturesCompensationThis is an hourly position, and pay depends on experienceApply for this job.
