Commercial agricultural feed is sold in different forms such as concentrate and complete feed.The business also includes CAN Technologies Inc., which provides technical services, technology licensing, software and management services to both internal and external customers.Position PurposeThe Senior Analyst for FP&A partners with the group FP&A teams to provides analytical support to help drive business performance. ?This role is part of the FP&A Center of Expertise (COE) and is designed as a project role, participating in various initiatives across the enterprise in the FP&A space, driving consistent use of tools while at the same time identifying and communicating best practices. ?Subject focus areas include but are not limited to: Competitive Excellence (CE), Performance Measurement, supply chain, M&A and working capital optimization.This role will also provide FP&A support to the leveraged functions (Risk Management & Sourcing, Strategic Marketing & Technology and Operations) as needed, participating in projects and Identifying analytics needs of internal teams through a comprehensive understanding of the functions business and stakeholders.Principal Accountabilities80% Financial Planning & Analysis Center Of Excellence:?As part of the CAN FP&A COE, participate in various projects to drive and support FP&A efforts across the enterprise, identifying and communicating best practices and developing and sharing toolkits. ?Serve as a center of expertise for FP&A colleagues across FP&A topic areas.Participate in development of CAN Competitive Excellence strategy and initiatives under that strategyDeploy finance expertise on pricing projects, margin analysis, SG&A initiatives, working capital, and other duties as assigned.?20% FP&A for leveraged functions:Provide FP&A analysis to the leverage functions (RMS, SMT and Operations) as needed.Coordinate the development of the business or financial case for specific initiatives or capital investments.Active participation in various business finance initiatives and other duties as assigned.Skills:
Required Bachelors degree or higher
5+ years experience in a financial role, preferably in a business analysis role
Experience in a financial business analysis / finance management role, preferably gained within a manufacturing sector
Proven experience in identifying key metrics, developing reports and analytical views in business intelligence tools
Experience and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes, tools, and approaches
Experience with business driven / self-service business intelligence
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
Ability to understand a problem, structure the analysis needed to solve it and come up with innovative and insightful solutions and recommendations
Good project management skills?
