SUMMARYThis position is responsible for ensuring that proper chemicals are properlydispensed in a safe and efficient manner and for ensuring processing equipmentand surrounding areas are kept in a clean, sanitary, safe, and tour r RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Ensures no injuries to self or others by following safe workpractices and procedures (including Standard Operating Procedures), andpolicies.2.
Ensuresthat chemical usage is recorded on the Chemical Log.3.
Transportschemicals by hand cart to and from the chemical room in a safe and efficientmanner.4.
Ensuresthat cleaning duties are completed on a regular basis.5.
Ensuresperiodic testing and documentation of foaming and sanitizing solution incentral foaming tank, foam pigs.6.
Ensuresthe ability to assist with training in order to ensure the proper training ofsanitation personnel.7.
Ensuresthe completion and maintenance of OSHA fork lift truck certificates.8.
Ensuresattendance and participation in training activities appropriate to the positionand to incorporate acquired skills and knowledge.9.
Ensuresself compliance with Company policies.10.
Ensuresthat the interface with team members and other support groups is conducted in aparticipative management style conducive with operational goals.Additional Key Activities: Conducts oneself in a professional manner andensures personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the jobfunction while representing the company.REQUIREENTS Education: Less than high school education. Experience: Six plus months related experience. Must possess current fork lift (hyster) certification (card) through the Moses Lake Plant. Must have an acceptable safety record. Must have an acceptable attendance record. Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
