FSQA Technician 5
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management. All Team Members are responsible for safety, which includes, but is not limited to, personal safety and food safety; any additional assignments requested. This position works with both beef and pork products, as well as other ingredients that may be a potential allergen.REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats Food industry required, or other FSQA type experience.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred.Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork.Special Skills: The ability to lead by example and motivate an hourly workforce, good problem identification and problem solving skills, good math and organizational skills, and the ability to read and interpret productspecifications; must function well under stress and have flexibility to work where and when needed.Physical REQUIREMENTS: Position involves heavy lifting (40 lbs. or more).Supervisory: NoneTravel: NoneTo view a full job description and submit your resume for consideration, click APPLY TO THIS POSITION below and follow the prompts.Apply for this job.
