What you will do: Work effectively in a cross-functional team to develop high-quality custom GIS solutionsUnderstand product requirements and develop GIS applications to meet business needsDevelop GIS application test scenarios to ensure data integrity, functional requirements, and stabilityAssist in preparing geospatial data for machine learning / deep learning modelsSuccessfully communicate implementation decisions, trade-offs, and testing results to the development team and product ownersDocument application codebase, implementation details, and revisionsMaintain and support applications according to changing system environments as well as changing business requirementsAnalyze customer issues, develop problem reports, and provide recommendationsWhat you will bring: Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems, geography, information management, computer science, or a related field, with at least 3 years GIS experience, or equivalent combination of education, certification and work experience.Experience with geographic databases and performing geoprocessing tasks in PythonExperience developing custom GIS maps, tools, and using spatial modeling and analysis in support of research and operationsExperience preparing geospatial data for processing and analysisExcellent knowledge of geospatial technologies including remote sensing and mapping toolsA technical mindset with great attention to detailHigh quality organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication and presentation abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience building deep learning models in platforms such as Keras, TensorFlow, or TheanoExperience with software deployment including source control, testing, and continuous integration toolsExperience with cloud computing solutions, specifically Amazon Web Services Are you a good match?
