In our Plant Breeding organization, we leverage cutting edge technology, data and analytics to transform the science of breeding by creating digital assets that drive the Breeding Pipeline toward commercial products. Our tools accelerate the pace of breeding and help realize increases in genetic gain of our farmer focused hybrid and varietal products. The Global Breeding organization seeks an exceptional student to join our team of Launch Managers at our research headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a product ecosystemthrough collaboration with internal and external teams to define and execute a roadmap of IT systems for all Breeding workflows. This co-op must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully interact with various levels of management, business partners, product managers, engineering teams and end users. The duration of the assignment includes the spring semester (January-June) of 2019. Key Responsibilities:Successfully drive global launch of a product (IT, Analytics, & Equipment) ecosystem, leveraging communication and coordination to ensure user adoptionWork closely with product owners, user experience professionals and business partners to understand change management required to achieve business objectivesPartner with other teams to create marketing and communication materialsDrive innovative use of social and collaboration tools to increase engagement and adoption It is critical that the co-op demonstrates curiosity and works proactively???with a desire to learn something new each day to think through difficult challenges and work with the team to find solutions. A willingness to ask for help when needed and openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback is a must.Qualifications:RequiredCurrent enrollment in a B.S. (junior status and above) program with a focus on Information Technology, Marketing, Organizational Psychology or related field of studyPossess IT system and/or database design familiarityCreative, out-of-the-box thinkerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf starter, motivated and strong team playerA solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process Operate effectively in complex and ambiguous situationsPC Proficient-a strong working knowledge of Excel, Access and other Microsoft software PreferredCurrent enrollment in an MBA programApply for this job.
