Global Chief Technology Officer
Position Description:The Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) reports to the Global CIO and is responsible for defining and leading the company’s Global Infrastructure strategy. The CTO plays an integral role in the Bunge‘s IT and business strategic direction, development, and future growth. Position Objectives: • Define the strategic plan for all areas of infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to data center, network, enterprise collaboration, end user computing, IT service desk.• Define the future state infrastructure organization model, including which areas to move away from the current decentralized model to become global shared services. Plan and lead the transformation from current to future state.• Direct all enterprise infrastructure and architecture operations for the company worldwide. Responsible for planning, implementing and directing the organization’s core global IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and operations.• Partner with Global IT financial management to maximize the value of IT infrastructure services. • Be the primary focal for strategic Infrastructure vendors as part of the VRM initiative. Support Global Technology & Operations through active vendor management, to optimize equipment and services provided by suppliers and working with vendor management to support the negotiation of supplier agreements. • Establish and develop strong relationships of trust and collaboration with all members of CIO council and global leaders to achieve our shared services goals. • Strong alignment and support for Global Applications leaders, ensuring infrastructure appropriately supports the applications space maximize business performance & value.• Strong alignment and support of the IT Risk & Security program. Partner with GCISO to ensure that infrastructure programs are thoroughly reviewed for security and deployment. Ensure the infrastructure ecosystem is secure and compliant with policies, standards and applicable laws and regulations.• Develop a strategic roadmap partnering with Global IT teams to identify and drive key transformation priorities e.g., global enterprise collaboration, service desk, asset management, workplace etc.Major Opportunities and Decisions:• Define and implement a strategic plan for what is currently a decentralized infrastructure organization. • Facilitate the development of a global operating model for the shared services organization. Craft effective organizational structure to ensure smooth transformation to the global shared services model. • To that end, lead organizational change management efforts to maximize benefit for BG as a whole while continuing to meet local operating company needs.• Use impactful and effective influencing techniques across all OpCo’s and stakeholders in determining global infrastructure priorities. • Demonstrate the ability to lead and influence IT leaders to make and embrace changes proposed in global infrastructure and other governance processes.• Lead efforts to improve standards, policies, and partnership with information security, internal audit and compliance groups. • Build and maintain an Asset management systems.• Create a standards board and architecture practice for global IT• Identify investments and cost savings opportunities to optimize IT infrastructure investments and day-to-day IT operations. Perform analysis of investments of IT transformation projects and construct fact-based business cases for each project. • Develop strong understanding of vendors, strategic vendor contracts, terms & conditions and overall vendor financials to identify and deliver global synergies and cost savings for the function. • Demonstrate executive presence. A technically extremely competent, self-starter with proven track record leading large global teams and transformational programs. An outstanding communicator with the ability to frame complex technology issues and strategies into a business context for presentation to the business and executive levels. Education:- Master Degree in Computer Science or related field is desired- BS or BA in Computer Science or related field is necessaryExperience:• 15+ years’ total IT strategy, infrastructure and operations experience, including 6+ years transforming and/or leading multi-site enterprise IT organization, including not limited to data center and disaster recovery services, cloud services, telecom and network services, compute platform, storage services, IT Security, enterprise collaboration and mobility, service management, and user support/help desk.• Collaborative leader, ability to gain consensus across multiple stakeholder groups• Strategic planning, and global infrastructure architecture and execution• Operational control / Continuous Improvement mindset• Expert Knowledge of ITSM / ITIL concepts and adoption• Knowledge of Security Technical Controls• Knowledge of compute platform and cloud services • Knowledge of data center and disaster recovery services and technology • Knowledge of enterprise collaborations and mobility technologies• Knowledge of Storage platforms and related technologies• Knowledge of network, and telecom services and technology• Understanding of application hosting concepts / considerations• Understanding of infrastructure risk management• Proven IT transformation leadership and staff development skills in a global IT organization. • Experience consoApply for this job.
