DescriptionCorteva Agriscience, has an exciting opportunity for a Global Functions HR Business Partner located in Wilmington, Delaware. Key Responsibilities  The Global Functions HR Business Partner provides consultation, advice, and information to functional leaders, managers, and employees concerning human resource issues and services.  Additionally, this role partners with leadership and coordinate the delivery of human resource services that are critical to achieving the business goals and business plan outcomes.The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:Performance Management.  Lead implementation and provide ongoing training, resources, and support of performance management.  Consult with managers and employees on the alignment of performance plans with company and business goals.  Identify and communicate linkages between performance management and development to ensure alignment of business goals and development priorities. Coach managers on the development of performance plans and in identifying and resolving performance issues.Business Management Planning/Consulting.  Consult with functional leaders on the determination of human resources needs, workforce needs (i.e., future skills needed, organization/job design, etc.)  and services necessary to support the business priorities and integration with business plans.  Identify broad employee and/or work group issues. Plan and access resources across human resources and the company.Employee Relations.   Consult with and educate managers and employees on employee relations issues. Assist managers in the interpretation and administration of company policies.  Provide guidance and innovative solutions on effectively managing issues while minimizing the risk to the company.Organizational Culture/Development and Environment.  Consult and educate managers on methods for optimizing the work environment.  Consult on matters including developing effective, flexible and versatile work teams or work groups; communicating and articulating company values, , etc.  Lead and facilitate organizational change efforts.  Partner with Talent Management on change efforts as appropriate.Compensation and programs.Rewards.  Consult with managers on compensation issues, including job management, annual merit and reward processes and the development of employee job descriptions.  Communicate and educate managers on compensation philosophy and targets.  Utilize resources within the department to provide accurate and timely compensation administration information.  Interpret regulatory issues related to pay.  Lead implementation of new or revised compensation.People Development.  Support company-wide learning initiatives that focus on business goals and objectives, business needs and priorities.  Serve as an advocate to learning within the organization.  As appropriate, analyze development needs and priorities.  Meet business needs through a variety of means to include:  developing and delivering training as appropriate and/or partnering with Talent Management group.Employment Process.  Consult with managers on planning and identifying staffing needs and employment offers.  Coordinate the recruitment and selection process and partner with the human resources talent acquisition team and other staff as appropriate.Human Resource Management Information.  Keep current on human resource trends, best practices, and regulatory issues in order to provide proactive consultation to managers.  Ensure data integrity of employees within assigned business unit within HRIS system.Professional Experience / QualificationsThe successful candidate will have at least 5-7 years of relevant HR business experience.High degree of business acumen, including an understanding of business strategies, competitive challenges and the financial impact of HR decisions.Change management skills.Exceptional ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate and influence others.  Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships.Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.Computer proficiency in MS Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook.Good consultation, coaching, conflict resolution and influencing abilities.Understanding of employee relations issues and actions.Understanding of organizational behavior.Knowledge of human resources trends, best practices, and regulatory issues.Ability to market workforce issues, HR programs, and information.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in human resources or other business related area.  Master's degree preferred with coursework in human resources or general business management.Certification in Human Resources Management desired.
