As a Global Grower Compensation & Relationship Manager you will be responsible for representing the business in the development of new Grower Compensation Digital Systems. As the toolkit and systems are established the role will transition to focus on grower contract strategy and grower relationships, which will require this individual to maintain a strong understanding of seed industry dynamics, grain marketing tools, contracting options, external affairs, and Corteva Agriscience strategic goals. The ability to creatively market the value of our seed contracts and partnerships to our strategic growers will be critical to success. Ultimately this individual should seek opportunities to develop and extend incentives, opportunities, and other value-added benefits to our Seed Growers to help Corteva Agriscience maintain the strongest Grower Network in the markets in which we operate. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Systems Product Owner – Business Product Owner for Grower Compensation IT system development.12-24month assignment focused on building the system to calculate, track, and execute seed grower contract payments globally.Grower Compensation Strategy: Develop annual review process for grower compensation & incentives. Work closely with Regional Production Directors to review compensation & incentive effectiveness and future strategy. Work closely with legal to ensure our contract is both compliant and easy to articulate to growers.Selling the Contract – Work closely with IO Field Training & Development to train agronomy teams on the value and benefits of our contract and how to position it with growers.Outside In – Maintain understanding of industry contract options, grain trade tools, and related dynamics that could influence our seed contract with growers on an annual basis. Customer & Consumer Focus – Maintain relationships with External Affairs to understand how to incent our Seed Growers to support stewardship, sustainability, and other consumer focused measures. Collaborate with Commercial Seed, Crop Protection, and Granular teams to create Enterprise offers or incentives for seed growers.
