Founded in 1818, the company is headquartered in White Plains, New York.Position Summary:The Global Network Lead is responsible for Bunge’s overall network (WAN, LAN, Voice) infrastructure across the globe.Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Global Network Lead will own and manage the strategy, vision, and execution of a global network organization. Core Functions: Deliver committed portfolio of infrastructure services (network) within agreed constraintsProvide input on service performance / major risks, issues and escalationsOversee development and management of network services / teams and be accountable for service deliveryProvide support to Network Architect for developing solution architectures for project-based engagementsProvide input on network service performance / major risks and issues to Infrastructure LeadOwn network supplier evaluation and make recommendations on supplier selectionDevelop reference architectures and set standards for network services globallyWork directly with consumers to understand both business requirements and technical implications on existing and new services; ensure service delivery to the regionNetwork Security Planning, Operations and ArchitectureMonitor service performance to identify network service improvement areasDefine the global network strategy to ensure a holistic solution for Bunge. Participates in strategy & design sessions with CTO and global ITMeet with stakeholders (i.e. business / IT customers) to ensure services are met or developedAccountable for the development of new and changes to existing network services. Ensures the global network environment is operational and proactively identifies opportunities to improve services. Organizational Change Management – aligning the Network organization to the global modelEnsure that Regional Priorities are met while adhering to global standards and meeting complimenting global prioritiesNetwork Security Planning and operationsReview suppliers on a periodic basis to ensure competitive pricing and services provided meet Bunge’s needsManage a global team of resources and ensures career development goals are met. Skills/Experience Requirements: Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information TecnologyMaster's Degree is a plusExperience:10+ years of experience in a strategic role involving voice and data networking10+ years of management experienceStrong understanding of switches, routers, SD-WAN technology, and network securityExperience leading strategic suppliersExperience leading development and operations globallyAbility to engage, influence, and lead senior stakeholders across multiple projectsAbility to drive decision-making in ambiguous environmentsAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25%+ at times) Competencies/Skills:Technical knowledge on voice and data network architecture technologiesStrong understanding of how network and security a linkedStrong strategic planning capabilities and communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of and experience leading complex enterprise wide Network operations. (Security Operations a plus)Vision and capabilities to define network strategy & transformation plans across a complex enterprise with a long decentralized history. Taking into consideration business, financial and technical objectives.Strong program management skills. Ability to manage complex transformation plans across internal and external teams, delivering expected results, while leading the identification and mitigation of business and technical risks. Experience managing complex network vendor landscape to maximize the value of vendor relationships.Organizational change management skills. Ability to lead through influence.Bias for action.
