Make an impact by joining the team that is working to solve one of mankind???s greatest challenges.Monsanto is seeking a Global Pipeline Operations Research Analyst to provide critical financial, operational and strategic decisions and models in order to maximize efficiency and impact in our Global Plant Breeding Pipeline located in Chesterfield, MO. This role with work with key functional leads, finance, IT, and analytics to develop tools and solutions to enable our Global Technology pipeline of products. Responsibilities include:Identify, define and provide models and solutions to complex business problems, such as those in production, logistics, and financeDevelop decision based models tied to financial impacts for our global plant breeding pipeline of products. Collaborate with key stakeholders to model scenarios with financial and experimental impact within LRP and budgetsCollaborate with Finance organization to drive adoption of simplified project classifications tied to budgets and LRPUse statistical analysis or simulations to analyze information and develop practical solutions to business problemsQualifications:Required Education and Skills/Experience: Minimum of a Master???s Degree in Operations Research, Analytics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Decision Science or a similar field related to quantitative analyticsExperience with and understanding of operations research modeling and communication of strategy with both technical and non-technical audiencesClear ability, motivation, and enthusiasm to establish a vision and identify gaps and opportunitiesDemonstrated critical thinking related to cost and benefit of various models and decisionsStrong background and experience in mathematics, modeling, and simulation Demonstrated model creation and usage for complex business scenariosDesired Education and Skills/Experience:2+ years of demonstrated model creation and usage for complex business scenariosKnowledge of field testing, nursery and seed operation processes and practices in the agricultural industryUnderstanding of complex database systems and integration into visualizationsBackground in operations research modeling for the logistics industry Who is Monsanto?
