Global Procurement Co-Op – #01RX9
We are seeking motivated individuals for our Global Procurement Co-Op opportunities. This position will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to our Procurement Finance Lead. The Procurement Co-Op Program is a full time, 6-month opportunity targeting undergraduate students in the purchasing function of global supply chain. This position will support global procurement operations while providing an enriched experience focused on personal and professional development. Each co-op will have the opportunity to provide procurement coverage on national, regional, and local spend categories, ensuring competitive cost sourcing of quality goods and services. Responsibilities:?? Facilitate bids, analysis and negotiations for goods and services?? Accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to our standard process?? Review and negotiate basic terms of agreements?? Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities?? Assist with contract development and execution?? Working with stakeholders and leadership teams to implement and enforcing polices that increase spend visibility and compliance?? Contribute to the cost savings goal through process efficiency?? Collaborate and communicate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectivesQualifications:We are seeking students who meet the following criteria: ?? Current enrollment within a Supply Chain Management, Ag Business, International Business, Economics or Finance bachelor with plans to graduate no earlier than 6 months upon completion of co-op assignment ?? Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0?? Willingness and ability to commit to a 6-month assignment (January-June 2019 or June-December 2019)?? Knowledge of MS Office Suite and SAP preferred ?? Previous related experience is a strong plus ?? Excellent interpersonal communication skills ?? Strong Results orientation??
