Global Procurement Program Management Office Lead
DescriptionCorteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont has an exciting opportunity for Global Procurement Program Management Office Lead based in Indianapolis IN. A Procurement Program Management Office (PMO) will deliver progressive thought leadership, robust processes/technology tools/policies, training, governance, and services to the procurement teams, business partners and the company at-large. The Global Procurement Program Lead-PMO will report directly to the Global Procurement Strategy, Enablement and Governance Team Leader. This role requires someone who thrives in a flat, fast-moving organization using lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to make a significant impact. This individual will have accountability to continue driving the implementation of procurement strategies and policies. S/he will be responsible for procurement governance and risk assessment/mitigation principles and solutions, as well as help shaping a new framework of category and supplier management for Cortevas most strategic supplier relationships.A qualified candidate should have extensive experiences in Sourcing and Six Sigma methodology, organizational/business acumen and interpersonal skills; a good track record of risk analyzing, project planning, executing, and tracking work plan phases and activities to enable effective communication of timelines, milestones, and goals to organizational stakeholders.The role will be heavily involved in: – Delivering Procurement PMO work plan and facilitate regular updates with the leadership team – Prioritizing and supporting the delivery of Procurement value creation projects encompassing cost, agility, sustainability, and business continuity initiatives.- Being able to build compelling business case to drive transformative value creation opportunities while influencing the organization to move forward on the top ideas- Working closely with procurement teams and facilitate key transformation (e.g. risk/governance) project implementation; ensure alignment with key stakeholders (R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, etc.) for value creation. – Subject-matter expertise with regards to Six Sigma optimization approaches; utilizing data analytics and proven methodologies (e.g. Lean/CI, Project Management) to drive efficient value delivery.- Facilitating with the regional teams to ensure the right to operate is establishedQualificationsQualifications:- Bachelors Degree in business, engineering or Supply Chain Management- Minimum 15+ years of experience in a senior buyer/sourcing management role- Strong change management agent and able to build strong relationship at all levels, internally & externally.- Excellent project/program management experiences, with demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering transformation projects on-time, with quality results – Experienced in procurement governance and risk mitigation topics- Experienced in identifying and developing standard methodologies, helping the businesses implement best practices- Advanced skills and experience in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) and SharePoint.- Strong attention to detail- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability and track record of leading complex analyses- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, Black Belt certification and Lean Practitioner preferred #LI-DD1Apply for this job.
