New York (remote)Where theChemistry Happens Weare seeking a professional like you to support the Global Key Account Manager(GKAM) to achieve business objectives and be responsible for the development ofnew business opportunities for Oral care, Personal care and Home careindustries.   In this role, you will leadinnovation and development efforts with a key customer using technologiesprimarily in support of the Care Chemicals division globally, and potentiallyacross other BASF business units.  Youwill be part of a global business team committed to deliver innovative andsustainable solutions to a leading customer.Yourarea of focus will be to establish new business opportunities and significantlygrow the business in each region for Oral care, Personal care and Home careindustries.   You will own the technicalrelationship with the GKAM with a stated goal of establishing BASF as thepreferred partner for technical solutions and cooperation at the customerglobally.  You will have sharedresponsibility for project targets with the GKAM, while working to changeparadigms and build new business opportunities in each region.  You will be expected to demonstrate formulationexpertise, flexibility and courage in meeting shifting business objectives, aswell as create and foster a safe, positive, and high- performance workenvironment.Thisposition will require you to have the flexibility to travel globally as needed, upto 50% of the time.Formula forSuccessSuccessfullyengaging across the organization, you will work with a highly motivated projectteam and interact with a large group of stakeholders in multiple BASFdevelopment locations around the world. Additionally, you will coordinate with colleagues in other regions andXBUs to leverage programs and define and request resources for technicaldevelopment. Leveraging
your education in a Science, Engineering or related field combined with
your technical and/or research and development experience, you will drive profitability through identification and
achievement of customer development opportunities and initiation of key
technical projects and developments for Oral care, Personal care and Home
care industries.As a highlymotivated, self-starter, you will drive results as an active member of theGlobal Key Account Management Team and through strong collaboration with otherorganizational functions in each region globally.Your ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple
tasks and projects at the same time with a sense of urgency will be
essential as you define specific
activities and timelines in alignment with the Team to ensure successful
and timely implementation of agreed measures, aiming at generating new
business for BASF in each region globally. 
You will also coordinate project execution and adherence to project
scope.Demonstrating your high level ofcustomer focus and relationship building skills, you will serve as internal and external point person for theidentified new business development projects at the customer (Portfolio sellingopportunities, sampling requests, customer requests and project requests).Your outstandingcommunication skills will be vital as you will place a strong emphasis onselling the existing portfolio of Care Chemical products for Oral care,Personal care and Home care industries; coordinating with Regional TKAMs tofocus on and drive short term opportunities.Your ability
to analyze markets, select target products and prepare technical
strategies will benefit you as you support
strategy implementation and strategic initiatives with Global Key Account
Management, and technical peers in Europe, Asia, and South America. Your
ability to drive and support change management opportunities will serve
you well as you act as
