Job Description: Nutrien Ag Solutions has an immediate opening for a dynamic and motivated self-starter who is capable of working both alone and with a team. Candidate must be able to complete multiple projects while maintaining the general requirements of the position in a time-sensitive environment. Extensive horticulture knowledge and exemplary customer service and sales skills are required of the position. What you will do: Understanding of chemical and fertilizers, and the ability to put together agronomic plans for clientsUnderstand basic cultural practices related to golf course turf managementBecome active and involved with local industry associationsHave excellent communication skills, with the ability to make cold calls and deepen existing business relationships Work with local manager and fellow reps to develop market strategiesForecast seasonal product needs by working with purchasing and operations managersConduct occasional product demos/trialsWhat you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass, Horticulture, Soil Science or related fieldAbility to work independently and self-motivate Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Hold a Oregon Pesticide License or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hireProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteHas the ability to problem solve and respond promptlyHold valid driver’s licenseAble to occasionally lift 50 poundsCompensation:401k with Company matchMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceCompany Vehicle, laptop, cell phonePaid VacationLife InsuranceAre you a good match?
