Grain Originator / Assistant Location Manager – 5610f

Central Illinois grain company seeks a personable Grain Originator who is driven to provide outstanding customer service and expand their origination program at?a key?truck and rail facility.??Originating grain is the key responsibility for this person, but the selected individual will have the opportunity to?broaden their skill set by periodically assisting with?a wide variety of duties including operating the computer and accounting systems, writing checks, and occasionally filling in outside if needed or learning to cover?for the merchandiser when he is gone.?Candidates must have a solid grain marketing / grain origination background ?and be driven, especially to?build relationships and do what needs done?to better serve the farmer customers and keep the elevator running smoothly.??An ability to see the big picture, a?solid work ethic, desire to get out on?the farms of current and prospective customers, and excellent computer and accounting acumen?are key.??Big grain company experience would be ideal.?This company has a long history of success and great potential to do much more.?They are located in high production corn country?in proximity to a?university and with?multiple school, family recreation, and other entertainment options nearby,??Their opportunity is ideal for someone who desires to make something their own, starting with?building relationships with customers from the ground up.?
