Position duties will include, butnot limited to:Complywith documented EHS&S procedures to promote a safe culture Helptroubleshoot plant and customer problems.Executeimprovement projects including scope development, MOC, documentation updates,management of contractors in the field, and project closure.Duringperiods of heavy maintenance activity (turnarounds), support E-Days as needed.Actas the focal point for job-specific contractor requirements in the areas ofhealth, safety and Environment. Monitors day-to-day performanceof contractor with regards to contractual agreements. Monitor contractorperformance with regards to work quality.Ensuresthe contractor receives site and unit Indoctrination covering the unit rulesand policies, Details of specific hazards, emergency procedures, block spilland containment plans.Conductsbehavior audit field inspections during the course of the job.Ensuresthe plant equipment is made safe prior to turning over to the contractor forwork.Coordinateswork done by other contractors to ensure minimum interference between jobs asrequired.Beknowledgeable in respect to the scope of the applicable job package.Communicatescope changes to appropriate partners (engineering, operations).Monitorsday to day contractor productivity to ensure site receives required servicelevel from contractor employeesReviewswork status with service providers and originators and adjusts schedule asrequired.Assistsin allocation of resources for resource leveraging.Workswith Activity Coordination, Production Coordination, Maintenance Planners andother Expertise Centers to coordinate Start Up / Shutdown timing and planQualificationsTo be qualified forthis role, you must possess the following:HighSchool Diploma/GED5+years of experience in manufacturing operationsKnowledgeof applicable work processes (as applicable).Generalknowledge of the Operate Plant Work Process along with contractor orientations.Knowledgeof site core standardsKnowledgeof the site safety data sheets/HAZCOM processStrongplant process knowledge and operational perspective to plan and coordinate theactivities for the Start Up and Shutdown Process.Effectiveteam member skills.Goodverbal and written communication skills.Prioritization,organization, and project management skills.Troubleshootingskills.Proficientin developing and implementing standard operating procedures The following is preferred:Workingknowledge of applicable Manage Production Work Process Tools, includingelectronic log book, Master Task List, MOC, etc Knowledgeof P&ID, and site underground piping#LI-DC1Apply for this job.
