What You'll Be Doing – As the Head of BCE Procurement NA, you will manage all procurement activity for all BCE plants in North America, including raw materials, indirect spend and procurement operations. You will manage all purchases from Pigment CoManufacturers for BCE globally as well as manage all sales to Pigment CoManufacturers for BCE globally. Lead a team of seven direct reports in North America to procure all raw materials, technical goods and services to BCE's four major plants in the region.Financial accountability in procurement: $100 m p.a.purchase value which needs to continuously be optimized with the target of achieving P&L relevant savings of 2% p.a.Lead a team of two direct reports (one in Germany, one in China) to achieve $20 m p.a. in sales and $10 m in CM1. Develop a conclusive approach and growth strategy for realizing annual growth of 10% for the next five years. Develop & oversee implementation of procurement category strategies for raw materials and services.Set-up & further optimize the stand-alone unit of BCE procurement in NA to be fully functional independent of BASF Group.Acquire and develop talent for BCE's future global procurement employee pool.

Shine With Colors & Effects Do You Have What It Takes? RequiredMaster's degree in engineering or chemistry with MBA or Master level business degree with complimentary technical skills. At least 10 years of work experience in various procurement functions, thereof preferably 5 years in the pigment industry. At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in dealing with large, international accounts for large scale transactions at VP level in the specialty chemical industry. Expert knowledge on:Global pigment industry including thorough technical understanding.Strategic procurement processes.Operational procurement processes.Sales process and key account management.Experience in dealing with decision making in a highly complex environment Bonus PointsDo you have leadership experience in a matrix organization, leading large global teams in a competitive, fast paced market environment?
