Health Service Clerk A Shift
SUMMARY: This positon performs clerical duties under the direction of the nurse manager, nurse supervisor or other designee. This duties will include, but not be limited to, creating new hire files and entering data into the OHSS system; maintain medical records in a neat, orderly fashion; print and distribute reports as directed; order and restock Occupational Health Services supplies; schedule in-plant periodic assessments and/or referral appointments to outside healthcareproviders. Other duties include: process completed audiograms and conduct counseling when applicable; complete OHSS data entry as directed by the nurse manager or nurse supervisor; facilitate transfer of team member medical records as needed and facilitate the retrieval of terminated team member medical records; perform medical audits under the direction of the nurse manger or nurse supervisor; maintain the confidentiality of team member health records per standard operatingprocedures. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: General office experience including typing and filing skills as well as above average grammar, punctuation and spelling skills. One to two years medical office experience is preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required. Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in all areas of communication; reading, writing and speaking, in order to perform daily tasks.
